The start of the international VALORANT season is approaching, and it kicks off at KICK//OFF. In an exclusive conversation with Pichau Arena last Thursday (31), Matias “Saadhak” Delipetro, LOUD’s in-game leader (IGL), shared insights into the integration of the team’s latest member, Gabriel “qck” Lima.
Qck, who joined LOUD in November 2023 after over two years with FURIA, steps in to fill the gap left by Erick “aspas” Santos.
With the remaining quartet playing together since 2023, the synergy built throughout the season is evident. However, the new member’s arrival required adjustments, and Saadhak highlighted the challenges in this process.
“80% of the team stayed, making the new player’s adaptation easier as he needed to integrate into our playstyle, and we had to understand the new contributions qck brought to our team. It was a mutual adaptation, something very interesting.”
“We know challenges will arise, it’s obvious; there are always obstacles to overcome, always something to improve, structure, but it’s part of the game, and we continue to deal with it. We’ll persist, whether winning or losing,” explained Saadhak.
KICKOFF KICK//OFF Americas marks the official start of VALORANT competitions this year. The tournament, taking place from February 16 to March 3 in Madrid, features the participation of 11 teams.
Moreover, the event offers two slots for VALORANT Masters and points for the global championship. LOUD, in Group B, already knows its opponents, facing formidable teams like Sentinels, Leviatán, and 100Thieves.
