Challengers 2024: Format, Teams, Schedule, and More

On Wednesday, February 14th, the thrilling first stage of the Gamers Club VALORANT Challengers Brazil 2024 kicked off. This tournament promises to shake up the VALORANT competitive scene in Brazil, bringing together a roster of 10 teams who will compete fiercely until May 2nd, vying not only for the title of champion but also for a substantial portion of the generous total prize pool at stake.

Participating Teams A total of ten teams are ready to enter the battlegrounds in pursuit of the coveted title of the first stage. Among them, notable teams include Herobase, Olimpo, Legacy, TBK Lusa, Red Canids, Stellae Gaming, Galorys, CO-OP, XLD Gaming, and 2GAME Esports.

Tournament Format Initially, in the group stage, the ten teams will face off in a single round-robin format. The top four teams in the standings will advance directly to the playoff stage, while those placed between fifth and eighth will compete in a play-in stage. In this additional stage, they will vie for the right to advance to the playoffs.

The playoff stage, in turn, will consist of six teams, following a double-elimination format. Matches will be played in best-of-three series (Bo3), except for the grand final, which will be held in a best-of-five format (Bo5).

Prize Pool In addition to the glory of the trophy, teams will have the opportunity to secure a significant share of the total prize pool of R$ 405,000. The grand champion will take home R$ 105,000. Furthermore, participating teams will have the chance to accumulate points throughout the stages, adding even more intensity and value to the competition.
