The VALORANT VCT Americas KICK//OFF tournament continues to be thrilling, and this past Saturday (17), the teams LOUD, Sentinels, Leviatán, and 100Thieves took action in the group stage, delivering intense matchups and exciting results.
LOUD 2×0 Sentinels
The initial battle unfolded on Split, where LOUD and Sentinels engaged in a breathtaking duel. In the first half, Sentinels came out strong, defending masterfully and establishing an 8×4 lead.
However, the Brazilian team showcased an impressive recovery in the second half, closing out the game with a hard-fought victory of 13×11.
On Ascent, LOUD started off scoring, but Sentinels rallied back and took the lead on the defensive side, concluding the first half at 7×5. Nonetheless, the Brazilian team rose in the second half, taking control and sealing the game with a 13×9 victory.
100Thieves 2×1 Leviatán
In the clash between 100Thieves and Leviatán, the Argentine team started strong on Bind, securing a 7×5 advantage in the first half. Despite the efforts of the North Americans, Leviatán maintained their lead and secured the victory with a score of 13×9.
On Split, 100Thieves dominated from the outset, building a significant lead on the defensive side with a score of 9×3. After the side swap, the North American team solidified their victory with a strong offensive performance, closing out the game with a convincing 13×3 win.
The decision came down to Icebox, with an even more intense showdown. The first half was controlled by Erick “Aspas” Santos’s team, demonstrating defensive consistency and ending with a score of 7×5.
In the second half, the game remained balanced, with both teams scoring, but it was Leviatán who secured the victory with a score of 13×11, guaranteeing a spot in the next phase of the tournament.
