The competition reached notable levels of tension during the Split, with balance being the hallmark of most rounds. The XLD team showcased their strength, equalizing the score at 1-1 after an intense battle resulting in a final score of 13-10.
In the decisive showdown, RED Canids, known as Lotus, stood out, securing the necessary final point to progress in the championship with a convincing 13-6 victory. The standout player of the match was Vinicius “v1nNy” Gonçalves, who emerged as the MVP – the most valuable player of the clash.
Simultaneously, TBK Esports faced off against CO-OP.gg in a series that proved smooth sailing for TBK, advancing with a score of 2-0, although without a broadcast to the community.
The most anticipated matchup of the day occurred between Hero Base and OLIMPO, with the heroes dominating in the Split and closing out the first map with a score of 13-3. Following that, on Bind, the team led by Douglas “dgzin” Silva continued to demonstrate their superiority, winning the series with a score of 13-9.
On Friday, February 22nd, the final games of the second round of GCVBC will take place, with the debut of 2Game Esports and Galorys at 5 p.m.
