Finally, after much anticipation, Riot Games announced on Wednesday (February 21st) the release of the long-awaited VALORANT Franchise League team capsules. This revelation comes after the developer teased and detailed the new cosmetics that would be introduced into the game.
When Can Players Expect the VALORANT Team Capsules?
The eagerly awaited VALORANT team capsules will be available starting from February 21st, that is, from this Wednesday.
What Is the Price of Items in VALORANT?
The capsule bundles cost 2,340 VALORANT Points (VP), approximately equivalent to R$ 75. Additionally, on the Brazilian server, items can be purchased separately, with specific VP prices for each of them:
- Classic – 2,175 VP
- Player Card – 375 VP
- Keychain – 465 VP
- Spray – 325 VP
What Is Included in the VCT Team Capsules?
Each team capsule will include a themed skin for the Classic weapon, a keychain, a player card, and a spray. There are 44 partner teams from four different leagues, providing a variety of choices for players.
The Classic and AR Inspect skins feature unique firing audio and a recolored barrel flash. Additionally, each team contributed to the creation of a custom player card. The sets also include exclusive keychains and sprays.
What Is the Purpose of the VCT Team Capsules?
The main purpose of the team capsules is to allow fans to support their favorite teams through in-game purchases, with 50% of the profits from each team collection being shared with the teams throughout the 2024 season.
Where Will Team Items Be Located?
The skins will be available in the Esports Hub within the game throughout the VCT season, providing an extended availability period for players to acquire the items.
Additionally, champions of global events will have access to exclusive promotions in the store as a reward for their performance in major tournaments.
The Team Capsules for the Americas, EMEA, and Pacific regions will be released on February 21st, while the VCT CN skins will be available in May, coinciding with the Masters Shanghai.
