The matchups for the semifinals of the VALORANT Champions Tour: Americas Kickoff (VCT Americas Kickoff), a continental tournament of the game, have been set. The LOUD team will face off against Evil Geniuses (EG), following a draw conducted by Riot Games to determine the teams advancing to the title contention.
On the other side of the bracket, the Sentinels team, led by Brazilian Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi, will compete against NRG Esports. A rule stipulated by the game developer prevented the team that qualified through the Play-In from facing LOUD in this phase, avoiding matchups between clubs from the same group in the semifinals.
The VCT Americas Kickoff semifinal will kick off with the showdown between LOUD and EG. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. (Brasília time), as announced on social media.
Following that, Sacy and his teammates will take on NRG, with the start time set for 10 p.m. (Brasília time). This could be the first time the former LOUD player meets his old team in a final.
