Galorys clinches its first victory in the Gamers Club VALORANT Challengers Brasil (GCVCB) 2024, while Legacy maintains its 5th place position after the results of the third week of competition, which are nearing the end of the regular phase and heading towards the play-in.
In the first match of the day, Legacy faced off against TBK Esports in a best-of-three maps series (BO3). Demonstrating their determination, Legacy overcame TBK Esports with a 13-4 victory on Sunset, followed by another win against Lotus with a score of 13-9, thus securing the 5th place on the leaderboard.
Despite the loss, TBK Esports still keeps their chances alive in the competition, with a record of 2-1.
Next up, it was Galorys and XLD Gaming taking the stage. The showdown took place on Breeze, with the red team securing a narrow victory of 13-11, despite the closely contested match.
In Split, the team led by the MVP (Most Valuable Player), Yann “maestr0” Erick, showcased superiority and tied the series with a convincing win of 13-10.
In the final and deciding map, Icebox, Galorys displayed their defensive prowess, claiming 9 rounds and closing the encounter with a 13-8 victory, sealing the overall win by 2-1.
Next week, TBK Esports will face Stellae Gaming, while Galorys will encounter OLIMPO, who sits at the bottom of the table. XLD Gaming will continue their journey against CO-OP, while Legacy will face the leader, 2GAME.
