Riot Games surprised VALORANT fans on Wednesday (6) by revealing the image of the trophy that will be awarded to the winners of the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2024: Masters Madrid. The piece, bearing a striking resemblance to the artwork conceived by talented Brazilian designer Lucas Campelo, was unveiled in a social media post by the company.
For the first time, the trophy will be awarded on Spanish soil, marking the country’s debut as host of a VALORANT world championship. Riot Games has finalized the aesthetics of the physical award, which promises to be an object of desire for all teams participating in the tournament.
One of the most striking features of the trophy is its connection to the new agent in the game, whose identity will be revealed during the grand final of the tournament. Silver elements and the presence of butterflies in the trophy’s composition strongly suggest the theme surrounding this new character, leaving fans eager for more details.
Previously, Lucas Campelo, a designer for the LOUD team, had shared his own interpretation of the trophy, which proved to be surprisingly similar to the official version revealed by Riot Games.
The VALORANT Masters Madrid is scheduled to begin on March 14 and run until March 24, bringing together the top eight teams qualified for the championship. Renowned teams such as Sentinels and LOUD, who excelled in the Americas Kickoff and have Brazilian representatives, are among the confirmed participants.
