VCT Madrid: LOUD Advances to Playoffs with Qck’s Spectacular Performance

In the third stage of the VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Madrid 2024 (VCT Masters Madrid 2024), held this Monday (18), the LOUD team shone brightly as they defeated EDward Gaming (EDG) 2-0, securing their spot in the playoffs.

The individual standout was Gabriel “qck” Lima, who led his team to an impressive victory over EDG, whose star, Zheng “ZmjjKK” Yongkang, is recognized as one of the world’s best duelists.

The battle began on the Icebox map, with LOUD taking the offensive and claiming the first two rounds, along with the pistol round. EDG struggled to find their rhythm, winning only one round in the first half. In the second half, LOUD dominated, adding two more points to their advantage and closing the score at 13-3.

Next, the competition shifted to Sunset, a map chosen by qck’s team. Once again, the Brazilians outclassed the Chinese, starting this time on defense and ending the first half with a partial lead of 9-3. Switching sides, LOUD continued their dominance, closing the match at 13-3.

With this convincing victory, LOUD advances to face the winner between Sentinels and Gen.G in the next phase of the playoffs at VCT Masters Madrid 2024. Playoff matches are scheduled to begin next Thursday (21), at 12 p.m. (Brasília time).
