In a live broadcast held last Tuesday (26), Matias “Saadhak” Delipetro shed light on the challenges that the LOUD VALORANT team has been facing regarding their entry visas to the United States. The Brazilian players on the team encountered difficulties that led them to relocate to Ireland due to complications with their visas.
While Saadhak managed to return to the United States due to possessing an Argentine visa, the same does not apply to the other team members. Uncertainty looms over these players’ return to the country, with visa issues still unresolved. The team captain revealed that the projected return of the rest of the roster to the United States is only in early April, just a few days before the start of the tournament.
This situation puts the team in an unfavorable position as they will have only a short period to prepare, arriving just two days before the VCT Americas debut. “What does this mean? It means they’ll arrive very late, in other words, just to give you an idea, we won’t even train for the next split. We won’t train for the next split because we don’t have time, our game is on the 6th and I think they arrive here between the 1st and 4th of April,” Saadhak stated during the broadcast.
VCT Americas Stage 1 is scheduled to take place between April 6th and May 12th, with the participation of 11 teams. This tournament is of utmost importance for teams vying for a spot in the VALORANT Masters Shanghai, where only three teams will qualify for the international competition.
