Is CS More Fun Than VALORANT? Pro Player Shares Opinion

Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, a renowned professional player with extensive experience in high-level competitions in both Counter-Strike (CS) and VALORANT, shared his opinion on the two games during a live stream. During the stream, TenZ stated that he finds Counter-Strike, Valve’s popular FPS, more enjoyable.

TenZ, who plays for Sentinels, entered the comparative discussion between the games by responding to a viewer’s question in the Twitch chat about his preference between CS2 and VALORANT, the Riot Games title. Although the two games share many similarities, it’s common to see professionals switch between them throughout their careers.

“Personally, I think CS is more fun. I enjoy the mechanical aspect of CS2, and it felt like every day you could improve on something mechanical. That was a really attractive aspect of the game,” TenZ explained during the live stream.

The famous streamer highlighted that “pretty much everything from a mechanical standpoint” is superior in Counter-Strike compared to VALORANT. He mentioned that in Valve’s game, it’s uncommon to hit shots while jumping or running, which adds a layer of realism and mechanical challenge to the game.

Despite his preference for CS, TenZ acknowledged positive aspects of VALORANT. He praised Riot Games’ title for allowing players to express their creativity through the use of different agents and team compositions. In contrast, CS creativity is more focused on executing strategies like smokes and entries at specific map locations.

The VCT Masters Madrid winner concluded his analysis by stating that both games have their unique qualities, but it is the mechanical experience of Counter-Strike that truly captivates him.

Benefits of NoPing for VALORANT

Using NoPing in VALORANT offers several significant benefits for players seeking a smoother and more efficient experience. First and foremost, NoPing is a software that optimizes internet connections, significantly reducing ping and latency during matches. This results in smoother gameplay, where commands are registered almost instantly, providing a crucial advantage in a competitive game like VALORANT.

Additionally, NoPing helps minimize lag, one of the main frustrations for players. With less lag, players can better focus on their strategies and skills without being hindered by delays in communication between the server and the game client. This improvement in connection is particularly useful in critical moments of matches, where every millisecond counts.
