VALORANT Rioter Reveals New Training Mode in Upcoming Update

In the next VALORANT update, Jo-Ellen, the Global Community Manager at Riot Games, announced that they are conducting tests on a new training mode for new players on the official developer server known as the PBE (Public Beta Environment).

Patch 8.10 will bring several updates, including a revision to the Welcome Contract. This new structure provides clearer missions and progress milestones, enhancing players’ experience before they venture into ranked matches.

Jo-Ellen explained: “We’re rolling out an update to our welcome contract specifically for new players! The new structure includes clearer missions and milestones to help players familiarize themselves with the game before diving into competitive matches.”

The basic training in VALORANT will resemble the well-known opening event in the franchise but will be available only to new users who join after the update.

According to Jo-Ellen: “The basic training event will follow a similar format to other events, allowing players to track their progress, understand objectives at each stage, and earn rewards to kickstart their journey in the world of VALORANT.”

For those who have already completed the welcome contract, the basic training event won’t be displayed (don’t worry, you’ve already received the same rewards!). If you’re partially done with the welcome contract, your previously earned rewards will be reflected in the basic training event, allowing you to continue earning XP toward your battle pass. 🎮✨
