Riot Games unveiled today all the updates coming in VALORANT Patch 8.11

The patch focuses on balancing Duelists in the game, aiming to ensure that agents like Jett and Raze, known for their ability to quickly gain space, do not dominate this role exclusively. The changes aim to increase the competitiveness of other Duelists, such as Iso, who now gains enhanced capability to regenerate protective strength after eliminations.

Iso has received enhancements to Flux Protectors, granting a shield more efficiently and the ability to recharge it upon enemy eliminations. Additionally, Neon’s abilities have been adjusted to improve mobility and precision during duels, making her more effective while sliding and utilizing her skills.

Meanwhile, Reyna underwent adjustments to reduce her dominance in competitive queues, focusing on balancing her skill kit without excessively weakening her. Reyna’s healing ability has been reduced, while her Devour and Empress skills have been tweaked to offer greater strategic flexibility.

The update also introduces the new map Abyss, a 5×5 environment with vertical mechanics and dangerous drops, set in the fortress of the Hourglass Henchmen. Alongside Abyss, Haven returns to rotation, providing more variety for players.

Significant improvements have been made to the ping system to enhance player communication, adding specific options for strategies during the purchase phase and for attackers and defenders. These changes aim to make player interactions clearer and more efficient.

In the context of the Closed Beta for consoles, previously announced, updates will be launched simultaneously across all platforms, ensuring a consistent experience for all players.

These changes are part of Riot Games’ ongoing efforts to maintain a balanced and dynamic VALORANT, promoting a healthy competitive environment for all players.
