Scene Revolution: Riot Games Announces Inclusive World Championship with More Teams

On Tuesday, the 18th, Riot Games made a significant announcement about the Game Changers Championship, the inclusive world championship for VALORANT. The company revealed that, in addition to a new venue, there will be an increase in the number of participating teams and several changes in the competitive scene, all aimed at promoting inclusion and equity in the game.

The most significant change is the increase in the number of teams in the world championship. Previously, the tournament featured eight competing teams. With the new update, the Game Changers Championship will now have 10 teams. However, Brazil will still have only one representative team.

The new participation format will be as follows:

  • 3 teams from the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa)
  • 2 teams from North America
  • 2 teams from the PACIFIC region (Asia-Pacific)
  • 1 team from Brazil
  • 1 team from Latin America
  • 1 team from China

In addition to the increase in the number of teams, Riot Games also announced that the third edition of the Game Changers Championship will be held at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin, Germany. This inclusive event is scheduled to take place from November 8 to 17. Choosing Berlin as the venue reflects Riot Games’ commitment to hosting a high-standard event that is accessible to diverse audiences.

With these changes, Riot Games reinforces its commitment to diversity and inclusion in the competitive VALORANT scene, providing more opportunities for teams from different regions and promoting a more equitable environment for all players.

Noping for VALORANT

Noping offers several benefits for VALORANT players, particularly by significantly reducing latency, providing a smoother and more responsive gaming experience. With reduced ping, commands are executed more quickly, resulting in more precise and competitive gameplay. Additionally, Noping helps stabilize the connection, minimizing the risks of disconnections or lag spikes during crucial matches. This is essential for those who want to maintain consistent and competitive performance, ensuring that players’ skills are fairly reflected in the game.
