After several rumors, Riot Games officially announced on Thursday (25) the launch of the commemorative bundle for the VALORANT Champions 2024, the game’s most prestigious global tournament. The set includes exclusive cosmetics, such as a themed Phantom and a unique knife.

Following tradition, Riot Games releases exclusive skins to celebrate the VALORANT World Championship, and this year is no different. The new skin bundle will be available in the game starting next Thursday (1). Revenue Distribution
As in previous editions, the teams participating in the tournament will receive a share of the profits from the sales of the exclusive Champions skin bundles. Until last year, 50% of the profits were distributed among the qualified teams. However, in 2024, this model will be adjusted.
In response to Leviatán streamer Guilherme “Tixinhadois” Cheida, Leo Faria, head of Esports at Riot Games, clarified that the revenue sharing will be expanded to include all franchise teams.
“Yes, the revenue pool is divided into 60 shares. All 11 teams in the four international leagues receive one share, and the 16 teams qualified for the Champions receive a second share,” said Leo Faria.
Economic Impact
Monetization through skin bundles has proven highly profitable for teams. In the first world championship, held in 2021, the cosmetics collection raised approximately R$ 35.5 million for the teams. In 2022, this amount grew significantly, reaching R$ 85.3 million.

The Champions edition skins are the rarest in the game, as they do not return to the store like other cosmetics. They are only available for purchase during the tournament period, making them unique and highly coveted by players.
