Leo Faria, the global head of Esports for Valorant, has provided significant updates on how Riot Games plans to implement VCT team skin bundles in the game. Additionally, he revealed the duration these team skin capsules will be available in the store.
Creation of Team Skins
The teams participating in the three VCT leagues collaborated directly with Riot Games to develop these exclusive team bundles. A portion of the revenue from the sales of these skins will be allocated to the teams themselves.
Each team had the opportunity to design their own player cards for the bundles. “We wanted these items to be appealing and to represent the team and its brand well,” Faria explained in a podcast. “Some are incredibly fun, others more serious, and some have a deep connection to the team’s origins.”

How long will VALORANT team skins be available in the store?
In response to a question on X (formerly Twitter), Leo Faria revealed that the VCT skins will be available only until September 12th.
Team Skins for Other Weapons
According to Faria, if the team bundles perform well, Riot may expand the cosmetics to other weapons beyond the Classic pistol.
The skin bundles are scheduled to be released during the VCT kickoff tournaments. Faria mentioned that these bundles will be available throughout the entire Valorant season, unlike other bundles that are limited to one or two months. Additionally, teams that win international events will have their bundles featured in the store.
Cost of VCT Team Capsules
Each VCT team capsule costs 2,340 VALORANT Points (VP), which is approximately $15. The capsules include a team-themed skin for the Classic pistol, a charm, a player card, and a spray.
