In the decisive third map, Sunset, EDG showed their strength and closed out the series with a convincing 13-6 victory, securing their place in the Upper Bracket Final.
Leviatán Overcomes Team Heretics to Advance
In the second series of the day, Leviatán faced off against Team Heretics and demonstrated their superiority. The first map was a nail-biter, with Leviatán narrowly clinching the win 15-13. On the second map, Leviatán, led by Aspas, solidified their dominance, winning 13-10 and booking their spot in the Upper Bracket Final.
Upcoming Challenges at Champions 2024
The tournament continues on Sunday, August 18th, with the Lower Bracket matchups. DRX will face Team Heretics, while Sentinels will go up against Fnatic. The winning teams will keep their tournament hopes alive, while the losing teams will be eliminated.
Next Friday, August 23rd, the highly anticipated Upper Bracket Final will take place between EDG and Leviatán. The winner will advance directly to the Grand Final, while the loser will get one last shot in the Lower Bracket.
