VALORANT Champions 2024 Hits 1.4 Million Peak Viewers

The VALORANT Champions 2024, the premier international tournament for Riot Games’ tactical shooter, concluded this year’s season with an impressive peak of 1.4 million viewers. This figure marks a notable increase of approximately 120,000 compared to last year’s event.

According to Esports Charts, a leading analytics platform that provides comprehensive metrics for esports broadcasts and live streams, the event averaged 441,971 viewers and accumulated nearly 50 million hours of watch time over its 106-hour duration. These numbers highlight the immense interest and engagement from the VALORANT community.

The VALORANT Champions 2024 featured 16 top teams from each region, competing for a total prize pool of $2.25 million (approximately R$ 12.33 million). In terms of peak viewership, this year’s event became the fourth most-watched tournament in the history of the professional VALORANT scene. It surpassed almost all other global competitions, except for the 2022 tournament, which achieved a peak of 1.5 million viewers.

Despite the high viewership numbers, VALORANT Champions 2024 was not the most-watched event in the competitive VALORANT scene this year. That title goes to VCT 2024: Masters Madrid, which recorded nearly 1.7 million viewers.
