FURIA has officially announced the departure of coach Koy, who will no longer lead the team for the 2025 season in the competitive VALORANT scene. Koy shared on his social media that he is now open to exploring new offers and opportunities with other organizations.
Koy joined FURIA at the end of 2023, but after nearly two years with the team, he has decided it’s time to move on. The coach is open to invitations to join the coaching staff of VALORANT franchise teams or work in the VALORANT Challengers Brazil (VCB). “I’m available to discuss projects within the franchise and VCB for coaching roles,” Koy stated in his announcement.
Koy’s Journey with FURIA
During his time with FURIA, Koy faced significant challenges in achieving standout results. In the 2024 season, the team failed to qualify for any international tournaments, leading to disappointment among both players and fans. Despite some improvements throughout the year, FURIA couldn’t secure a spot in the playoffs of the second stage of VCT Americas.
With Koy’s departure, FURIA has yet to announce their new head coach for 2025. However, rumors suggest that Peu, former coach of LOUD, could be a top candidate to take over the position and guide the team towards better results in the upcoming season.
Connection Improvements with NoPing
In light of these changes, it’s important to highlight that a team’s technical performance also heavily depends on a stable and efficient connection. Issues like high ping, latency, low FPS, lag, packet loss, jitter, and disconnects are major obstacles for any competitive player. To prevent these factors from hindering gameplay, NoPing offers the perfect solution. It helps reduce ping, improve connection stability, boost frames per second (FPS), eliminate packet loss, and minimize jitter, ensuring a smooth, uninterrupted gaming experience with enhanced performance.
