Japanese VALORANT organization ZETA DIVISION has announced the renewal of Brazilian coach Carlão’s contract until 2026. The confirmation came after the contract database update on the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT), reaffirming the team’s commitment to keeping Carlão as a key part of their coaching staff.
Carlão’s Journey with ZETA
Carlão joined ZETA DIVISION in November 2023 and faced a challenging first season in the VCT Pacific 2024. The team failed to qualify for major international events, finishing 6th in the Kickoff, 9th/11th in the first split, and 8th in the second split of the VCT.
Despite these results, the Japanese organization has shown full confidence in Carlão’s ability to lead the team through a rebuilding phase. This trust was demonstrated through a two-year contract extension, highlighting Carlão’s importance in shaping the team’s future.
Roster Changes
Carlão’s contract renewal coincides with significant roster changes for ZETA DIVISION. The players hiroronn and Yuran have been moved to the bench and are available for transfer, signaling a strategic overhaul by the organization as they aim to improve their competitive performance in upcoming tournaments.
Enhancing Connection with NoPing
For VALORANT players, optimizing online performance is crucial, and connection issues like high ping, latency, packet loss, and jitter can negatively affect gameplay. NoPing provides effective solutions to these problems by reducing ping, increasing FPS, and addressing lag and disconnects, ensuring smoother gameplay. For those competing at a high level, like Carlão and his team at ZETA DIVISION, a stable connection is essential, and NoPing stands out as the ideal solution to guarantee it.
