On Wednesday night (16th), LOUD announced the departure of one of its key VALORANT players, Felipe “less” Basso. After nearly three years of a successful partnership, the Brazilian pro player is parting ways with the organization that helped shape his career in the competitive scene.
Just minutes after the announcement, Team Vitality, the French organization, revealed on social media that Felipe “less” Basso is the newest addition to their VALORANT roster. Known for his role as a sentinel, less brings an impressive track record and recognition as one of the top players from his time with LOUD.
In his farewell post on X (formerly Twitter), less expressed his gratitude to the fans and the organization: “The best moments of my life were with you, I will keep cheering,” said the player. His departure marks the end of an era for LOUD, where he was a crucial pillar of the team’s success.
Less joined LOUD in February 2022, and since then, he has played a vital role in the team’s victories. During his tenure, LOUD claimed back-to-back titles at the 2022 Challengers Brazil, won the 2022 Champions, and triumphed in the first phase of the 2023 VCT Americas, establishing Brazil as a global powerhouse in VALORANT.
Less’s departure comes amidst other roster changes at LOUD, such as the recent exit of their in-game leader (IGL), Matias “saadhak” Delipetro, signaling a potential overhaul of the team as they look ahead to future competitions.
