VALORANT: Two Major Organizations May Exit the Competitive Scene in Brazil

Recent reports have raised concerns about the future of two major organizations in Brazil’s competitive VALORANT scene. According to recent findings, RED Canids and Legacy are considering leaving the competitive landscape, causing significant worry among fans and the community.

Legacy, which had been actively participating in the VALORANT Challengers Brazil 2024 (VCB), is reportedly withdrawing from the scene after losing its spot in the third split due to relegation. This decision would mark the complete end of their operations in the VALORANT scene, as the team failed to qualify for the upcoming stages of the tournament.

On the other hand, RED Canids, which has had a more stable trajectory with a runner-up finish in the first split and a 5th/6th place finish in the second split, is also reconsidering its presence in the scene. Despite securing a spot in the third split, the organization decided to release its players as a cost-cutting measure. However, this does not necessarily signal the end of the team in VALORANT, as there is a possibility of new players being signed or even the former lineup being re-contracted for the next split.

Growing Concern in the Community

The uncertainty surrounding the continued presence of these major organizations in the VALORANT competitive scene has sparked concern among fans and community members. Many have shared their thoughts on the current state of the Brazilian competitive scene, emphasizing the negative impact that these departures could have.
