Last Friday (4th), the VALORANT community was surprised by the announcement that Bleed Esports has been removed from the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific, one of the major esports tournaments in the scene.
Riot Games’ Decision
Riot Games explained that the decision came after a thorough evaluation, where Bleed Esports was found to have failed to meet critical requirements, such as mandatory reporting and other obligations outlined in the Team Participation Agreement (TPA). The game developer stressed that removing a team is not a decision made lightly but was necessary to maintain the league’s integrity and ensure the players’ best interests.
Due to persistent operational issues within the organization, Bleed Esports has been excluded from the competition. As a result, the team’s players were notified immediately, allowing them to explore other opportunities in the competitive scene as quickly as possible.
Boom Esports Takes the Spot
Following Bleed Esports’ removal, Riot Games announced that Boom Esports, the runner-up of Ascension Pacific 2024, would be promoted to fill the vacant spot. This change does not affect the planned format for 2025, and the VCT Pacific will continue with 12 teams, as originally scheduled.
Boosting Player Performance with NoPing
For VALORANT players, connection quality is vital during both competitive matches and casual games. Issues like high ping, latency, FPS drops, lag, packet loss, jitter, and disconnects can significantly hinder performance. NoPing, an advanced connection optimization tool, is the ideal solution to overcome these challenges. It reduces ping, stabilizes latency, improves FPS, eliminates packet loss, and minimizes jitter, ensuring a smoother and more competitive gaming experience.
