VALORANT: Professional Player Jelly Shines in CS2 with Outstanding Performance

Last Friday (18th), MIBR brought in a key reinforcement for its Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) team. Julia “Jelly” Iris, a well-known professional VALORANT player, stepped in as a stand-in for MIBR’s CS2 squad and delivered an impressive performance. She was the standout player in the match against inSanitY, showcasing her skills in a different game environment.

The match was part of the fourth round of the ESL Impact League Season 6: South American Division. Jelly, who usually plays as a flex in VALORANT, led the scoreboard with 48 kills and finished with a positive KD of 23, proving her ability to adapt quickly and perform at a high level in CS2.

In the first map, Ancient, Jelly dominated with 27 kills and only 15 deaths, clearly being the key player in the match. Moving into the second map, Mirage, she continued her strong performance, once again becoming the focal point of the game.

While her stellar performance in CS2 may have surprised some, Jelly is already a well-established name in VALORANT. She has won the Brazilian championship twice and will represent Brazil at the 2024 Game Changers Championship, the global female competition for VALORANT.

As for MIBR’s journey in the ESL Impact League Season 6: South American Division, the team was unable to secure a spot in the international tournament, despite having four wins in seven matches.
