This wasn’t Team Liquid’s first appearance in the Game Changers Championship. In their debut, the Brazilian team secured the third-place position globally. Palestra commented on the fact that Brazil has only one slot in the tournament, despite having a robust competitive scene.
“I believe we deserve more than just one slot in the inclusive world championship. It’s too little for the teams we have here. We have a very strong scene.”

Team Liquid, currently ranked as the second-best team globally, navigated through the lower bracket to reach the final of the Game Changers Championship. In the decisive clash against Shopify Rebellion, the Cavalry suffered a painful defeat, with a score of 3×2.
