VALORANT Players from South America Support International Headquarters in the Region

Players from the Americas’ VALORANT League have been expressing their preferences regarding the potential location of an international event for the game, with South America emerging as one of the top choices.

Among the cities proposed by players to host an international VALORANT tournament, São Paulo stands out as a popular option. Vanity, from Cloud9, is one of the North American athletes who have endorsed the idea of bringing a championship to Brazil, specifically in São Paulo.

In addition to the São Paulo metropolis, Rio de Janeiro has also been mentioned as a potential venue. LOUD’s Argentine player, Saadhak, has expressed interest in seeing the event held in the Brazilian capital, despite admitting not being familiar with the city.

Meanwhile, the KRÜ organization, composed of four Chilean players, has shown a preference for Santiago, the capital of Chile.

It is worth noting that, so far, only Brazil has hosted international VALORANT championships in South America, including the VCT LOCK//IN, the Game Changers Championship, and the VCT Ascension Americas.

Meanwhile, the upcoming international VALORANT events in 2024 already have their venues defined: the Masters Madrid in Spain, the Masters Shanghai in China, and the Champions Seoul in South Korea. However, information about the location of the VCT Ascension and the Game Changers Championship 2024 has not yet been disclosed.

The next VALORANT international tournament will be the Masters Madrid, scheduled to take place between March 14 and 24, featuring the top eight teams that secured their spots through the VCT KICKOFF from each region of the Franchise League.
