During a recent appearance on the Spanish podcast Universo Valorant last Saturday (9), Fernando Diez, CEO of Leviatán, made it clear that he has no intention of making changes to the lineup by dismissing the possibility of hiring Bryan “pANcada” Luna.
Following his release by Sentinels last Thursday (7), just a few days before the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Masters Madrid 2024, the player’s future remains uncertain for the 2024 season.
During the podcast, Fernando was asked about the possibility of team rotation and the prospect of hiring the Brazilian player, and he promptly responded to dispel any speculation:
“Zero, 0% chance (of hiring pANcada). There will be no changes to the team, let’s make that clear,” said the CEO.
Rumors suggested that pANcada was being courted by FURIA and Cloud9, however, insider Noyn clarified that the world champion did not reach an agreement with these organizations.
With “certain names” being announced by teams, such as Moose and Runi by Cloud9, there were rumors that Leviatán was in advanced negotiations with Bryan, but the CEO denied this possibility. Meanwhile, FURIA reportedly made a considerable effort to improve its offer to the former Sentinels player but ultimately reversed the decision.
At the moment, pANcada remains without a team to represent in the 2024 season.
