2Game faced its first setback in the VALORANT Challengers Brasil 2024 (VCB) as TBK Esports pulled off a surprise victory in the opening of the week. In an exhilarating journey this Tuesday (12th), 2Game encountered its first defeat in the championship against TBK Esports. Additionally, Galorys and RED Canids continued to impress, winning their matches against Hero Base and CO-OP, respectively.

The initial clash saw Galorys facing Hero Base in a best-of-three maps (BO3) series, starting with their choice on Split. Galorys dominated the first defensive half, finishing with a 9-3 advantage. In the second half, despite Hero Base’s efforts, Galorys maintained control, securing the victory with a score of 13-5.

Meanwhile, RED Canids faced CO-OP on Sunset, CO-OP’s choice. With a solid defense, RED Canids dominated the first half with a score of 8-4. In the second half, RED Canids continued their domination, closing the game with a convincing 13-5 victory. Special mention to Zanatsu, with his brilliant performance as Raze, ending with 24 kills and only 10 deaths.

In the showdown between 2Game and TBK Esports, the day’s surprise, TBK Esports emerged victorious. On Ascent, TBK dominated with an impressive 13-1 score, led by RND, who achieved a rating of 2.28 and a K/D of 22/7. Sunset witnessed a turnaround from 2Game, forcing overtime and finally securing the victory with a 14-12 score.

In the decisive Icebox map, 2Game suffered its first defeat in the championship. Despite a strong start on the attacking side, 2Game saw TBK Esports bounce back in the second half, winning the game with a 2-1 score in the BO3 series.

Despite the defeat, 2Game still maintains the lead in the standings, but now faces growing competition from RED Canids, as well as potential threats from Stellae and Legacy, who will still play this week in search of their fourth victory.
