Following Felipe “liazzi” Galiazzi’s departure from the VALORANT team last Monday, leaving a vacancy, FURIA has officially announced Agustin “Nozwerr” Ibarra’s return for the 2024 season.
The confirmation came through a publication made this Tuesday by the organization, putting an end to the rumors circulating about Nozwerr’s signing.
The Argentine player previously had a stint with FURIA that lasted over a year, from January 2021 to October 2022. During this period, he clinched the VCT 2022 and VCT 2021 qualifiers alongside his teammates.
More recently, Nozwerr was with the Leviatán team, currently leading the LAS region (South Latin America). There, he secured titles in competitions like Valorant LATAM Gods and Superdome 2023 – Colombia.
In early 2024, Nozwerr was placed on the team’s bench and made available for negotiations, fueling speculation about his return to FURIA.
With this confirmation, FURIA’s VALORANT team now consists of the following players:
- Agustin “nzr” Ibarra
- Khalil “Khalil” Schmidt
- Leonardo “mwzera” Serrati
- Vitor “kon4n” Hugo
- Ilan “havoc” Eloy
- Pedro “Koy” Pulig (coach)
