After the thrilling Grand Final of the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2024: Game Changers Brazil, the premier inclusive VALORANT tournament in the country, Team Liquid (TL) emerged victorious against MIBR. Natália “daiki” Vilela, standing out as a seven-time national champion in the category, shared to whom she would dedicate this special title.
On Thursday (16th), Team Liquid defeated MIBR with a score of 3 to 1 in the best-of-five series. The match was intense, marked by two overtimes, where each round could have changed the course of the competition. Despite the strong performance from both teams, Team Liquid managed to outperform and secure the victory.
Reflecting on the prominence of the teams, daiki decided to dedicate the title to herself, recalling the moments of doubt she faced during the campaign. “I questioned myself a lot at certain times during this circuit because I knew MIBR was a very strong team. So, I asked myself if we were really capable,” she confessed. “I think that was a mistake, but it comforts me to know that in the end, everything worked out and our hard work was rewarded.”
Since beginning her journey in Riot Games’ FPS, daiki has been a dominant figure in the inclusive national scene. Throughout her career in the Game Changers tournaments in Brazil, she has secured the title of seven-time champion. At Team Liquid, she led the team to victory in five championships in the category, serving as captain and inspiring many.
