In the early hours of last Sunday (9th), the international VALORANT tournament, Masters Shanghai, concluded. This time, without any Brazilian teams in the competition, Gen.G emerged as champions by defeating Team Heretics 3-2 in an exciting best-of-five (BO5) series.
The final marked Gen.G’s second consecutive appearance in a championship match this season. The South Korean team faced Team Heretics and triumphed by winning on the maps Breeze (13-6), Lotus (13-4), and Split (13-3). In addition to the title, Gen.G took home a prize of $350,000, approximately R$1.8 million, and three qualifying points for the Champions, the world championship of the modality.
This victory is particularly significant as it is the first time a team from the Pacific region has won such an important title in the VALORANT scene. In the previous international competition, the VCT Masters Madrid, Gen.G came very close to victory but ended up being defeated by Sentinels, the team of Brazilian Gustavo โSacyโ Rossi, finishing in second place.
The most memorable moments of the grand final include:
- Gen.G’s Coronation: The team’s emotional celebration upon winning the title.
- Final Decisive Round: The final play that sealed the victory for Gen.G.
- Master Play: Highlights of exceptional strategies and skills demonstrated during the match.
Gen.G’s victory at the Masters Shanghai not only secured an important title for the team but also marked a significant milestone for the Pacific region in the global VALORANT scene.
NoPing for VALORANT
NoPing is an essential tool for VALORANT players looking to optimize their performance and enhance their gaming experience. In addition to lowering ping, NoPing helps to avoid lag spikes and unexpected disconnections, ensuring smoother and uninterrupted matches. The tool also supports a variety of server routes, allowing players to choose the most efficient route for their specific needs. This results in smoother gameplay and faster response times to commands, increasing accuracy and performance in confrontations.
Another benefit of NoPing is its ease of use. With an intuitive interface, even less experienced players can quickly set up the tool and start enjoying its advantages.
