Astra’s New Ability Can Throw Enemies Off the Map

Last Sunday (9th), Riot Games unveiled VALORANT’s newest map, Abyss. An intriguing feature of this map is the lack of fixed boundaries, meaning players can fall to their deaths if pushed off the edges. The agent Astra, for example, has abilities that can be used to launch enemies off the map.

In a video shared by a player on social media, it is shown that by planting the Spike and using Astra’s “pull” ability, enemies are sucked in and fall to their deaths outside the map. Watch the video:

Astra isn’t the only one who can take advantage of Abyss’s lack of boundaries. Other abilities, such as Breach’s ultimate, also have the potential to push opponents off, resulting in instant kills.

VALORANT’s New Map Release

The Abyss map was showcased during a showmatch before the Masters Shanghai 2024 finals. It will be available to all players starting this Tuesday (11th), alongside update 8.11. With the addition of Abyss, the maps Breeze and Split will be removed from the game’s competitive rotation.

NoPing for VALORANT

NoPing offers several benefits for VALORANT players, primarily in reducing latency and improving connection stability. By utilizing intelligent routing technology, NoPing optimizes the path between the player and the game servers, resulting in a smoother and less laggy gaming experience. This is crucial in a competitive game like VALORANT, where reaction speed can determine victory or defeat. Additionally, NoPing helps prevent packet loss and unexpected disconnections, providing more reliable gameplay. With these improvements, players can fully focus on their strategies and skills without worrying about technical issues disrupting their performance.
