LOUD Defeats MIBR in Brazilian Showdown at VCT Americas

This Sunday (30th), Brazilian VALORANT fans were split between LOUD and MIBR on the fifth day of the second split of the VALORANT Champions Tour: Americas 2024 (VCT Americas 2024). The team led by Matias “Saadhak” Delipetro emerged victorious in the series with a 2-1 score.

The match began with Ascent, chosen by MIBR. Despite their choice, LOUD dominated and won 13-7, with Saadhak being named MVP for his outstanding performance.

In the second map, Lotus, chosen by LOUD, MIBR managed to bounce back and secure a 13-11 victory. This was a significant milestone for the team, as it was the first map they had won since the first split of the competition, after six consecutive 2-0 defeats.

The decisive map was Sunset, where LOUD closed the series with a 13-9 victory. Felipe “Less” Basso shone and earned the MVP title. With this win, the VCT Americas 2023 champions regained momentum in the competition and set their sights on the playoffs. Meanwhile, MIBR remains at the bottom of the standings without any wins but showing noticeable improvement.

Recently, both Brazilian teams made roster changes to strengthen their campaigns in the competition. LOUD announced the return of Bryan “pANcada” Luna, who had a successful stint with the organization and was a world champion in 2022. On the other hand, MIBR introduced new additions: Felipe “Liazzi” Galiazzi, Davi “Palla” Alcides, and Gabriel “Rich” Rosa.
