The highly anticipated VALORANT Champions 2024 kicks off this Thursday, August 1st, in Seoul, South Korea, bringing together the best teams from around the world. This event, the pinnacle of the VALORANT season, will crown the world champion over a month of intense competition, concluding on August 25th.
Tournament Format
The tournament is divided into two main stages: the group stage and the playoffs.
Group Stage: August 1st – August 11th, 2024
- Four groups in a double-elimination format
- Each group consists of 4 teams
- All matches are best-of-three (BO3)
- The top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs
Playoffs: August 14th – August 25th, 2024
- Double-elimination bracket
- All matches, except the lower bracket final and the grand final, are BO3
- The lower bracket final and the grand final are best-of-five (BO5)

The 16 participating teams come from the four international leagues: Americas, China, EMEA, and Pacific. Although Brazil will not have any teams representing the country for the first time in the tournament’s history, Brazilian players will compete in teams from other regions.

The total prize pool for VALORANT Champions is $2.25 million (approximately R$12 million), distributed as follows:

- 2nd place: R$2 million
