VCT Kickoff Americas Schedule Revealed; FURIA, MIBR, and LOUD in the Mix
On January 30, Riot Games unveiled the official schedule for the VCT Kickoff Americas, kicking off the 2024 season.
The tournament, set to take place from February 16 to March 3 in Madrid, will bring together 11 invited teams from the Americas region. In addition to offering two spots for the Valorant Masters, the event will distribute points for the Valorant Champions ranking, the franchise’s global championship.
Brazilian representatives include FURIA, MIBR, and LOUD. Notable teams also in the lineup are NRG, Cloud9, Sentinels, Leviatán, 100 Thieves, KRÜ Esports, and debutant G2 Esports.

FORMAT In the group stage, the 11 teams will engage in best-of-three map series (BO3) with double elimination, featuring upper and lower brackets. Group winners secure a direct spot in the playoffs.
Second-place teams enter a relegation stage, competing in BO3 matches, and the top team from each bracket advances to the playoffs, this time in a best-of-one map format (BO1).
The semifinals follow the BO3 format, while the grand final unfolds in a best-of-five map series (BO5).

GROUPS Participants are divided into three groups, with first-round matchups already set:
Group A
NRG vs. FURIA Cloud9 vs. MIBR Group B
LOUD vs. Sentinels Leviatán vs. 100 Thieves Group C
KRÜ Esports vs. G2 Esports Evil Geniuses vs. Winner of KRÜ Esports vs. G2 Esports Evil Geniuses is exempt from the first round and starts in the upper bracket final, having secured the top spot in the Valorant Champions Tour Americas.
